The "COM Settings/Real Port" window
This is one of the "key features" of ComTrace! It enables you to set up the COM ports to be used with ComTrace in a very quick and easy way . The ports that are installed and not used by another program will be detected automatically by ComTrace. The window, if activated, stays visible! So you can change the parameters over the whole session with ComTrace! The next advantage is, that you can see the real port stats on data and signal lines with the red LEDs on that window.

If you finally exit ComTrace, you will be asked, whether you want to save these environment settings to a special file or not!
