How to start the software?
If you have connected the ComTrace cables as described in section "How to install the hardware", you are now ready to proceed with starting the software itself.

Double click the icon "IWOXX ComTrace" in your window's start menu or on your desktop as required.

If you start Comtrace for the first time, the Info dialog will appear and you'll have to enter the registration details, that you've got from IWOXX! Else ComTrace stays in Demo Mode.

After checking the registration details, ComTrace starts with checking the ability of your hardware (timer). If you see a message like the following, the timer of your system is not able to measure delta times smaller then the systems standard clock tick (about 55ms). If you don't see that message, your system's timer is able to resolve times down to 8us (microseconds).

After processing the initial checks, ComTrace starts up with its Main Screen !
