How to start the software?
If you have connected the ComTrace cables as described in section "How to install the hardware", you are now ready to proceed with starting the software itself.

Double click the icon "IWOXX ComTrace" in your window's start menu or on your desktop as required.

If you start Comtrace for the first time, the info dialog will appear and you'll be able to buy the software (links to IWOXX online shop), register the application (See registration data, that you've got from IWOXX) or continue with demo mode!

After checking the registration details, ComTrace starts with checking the ability of your hardware (timer). If your system doesn't contain a High Performance System Counter (untypically), the resolution is limited to the system timer's tick of 55ms. In the ideal case you have a resolution of 8µs.

After processing the initial checks, ComTrace starts up with its Main Screen !
