How to install the software?
Before you can use IWOXX ComTrace, you'll have to install the software from CDROM!
Be sure, that you accept the "Software License Agreements" for using this software. If not, send the complete package back to IWOXX with the unopened CD/DVD cover!
The following paragraphs show you the installation process step-by-step:
1.) Insert the CDROM and wait until the "CD Installer" window appears. Select "Install program"! If the auto run feature is disabled on your system, please open the CDROM drive with the Microsoft Explorer and run "setup.exe".
2.) Selected the requested installation (and application) language and press <OK>:
3.) The following startup installation dialog appears. Click <Continue>:
4.) Accept the software licence agreement and then click "Next >". If you don't want to agree with, you aren't allowed to install and use the application:
5.) The next dialog shows you the readme file with important information about installation and/or facts, that are urgent or could not be printed in the manual! Click "Next >", if you are ready with reading:
6.) Select and/or change the program folder, where you wish to install the application. Click "Next >", if you are ready:
7.) Now select the start folder's name and click "Next >":
8.) Here you can determine, whether you want to create an icon on the desktop or in the quick lauch bar.Click "Next >", if you are ready:
9.) This dialog enables you to check all of your settings for installation. If you want to change anything, use the "< Back" button the step back to previous dialogs! Click "Next >", if you are ready (Installation begins!!!):
10.) Now installation of the requested files runs...:
11.) Installation is completed. Choose, whether you want to launch ComTrace now! Click "Finish", if you are ready:
***CONGRATULATIONS: You have successfully installed IWOXX ComTrace!
Now you are ready to proceed with the next step "How to install the hardware?"!
