How to install the software?
Before you can use IWOXX ComTrace, you'll have to install the software from CDROM!
Be sure, that you accept the "Software License Agreements" for using this software. If not, send it back to IWOXX with unopened CD cover!
The following paragraphs show you the installation process step-by-step:
1.) Insert the CDROM and wait until the CD Installer window appears. Select "Install program"! If the auto run feature is disabled for your system, please open the CDROM drive with the Microsoft Explorer and run "setup.exe".
2.) Please wait while setup is preparing for install:
3.) The following startup installation dialog appears:
4.) If you are ready to proceed, click the "Next >" button to start installation:
5.) Carefully read the "Software License Agreements" and only click "Yes", if you accept them. If not, click "No" and the installation will be canceled:
6.) The next dialog shows you the readme file with important information about installation and/or facts, that are urgent or could not be printed in the manual! Click "Next >", if you are ready with reading:
7.) Now please insert your name and/or company into the fields and click "Next >", if you are ready:
8.) It's time to choose the destination location for your installation of ComTrace. Use "Browse..." to select another directory or click "Next >", if you are ready:
9.) Select and/or change the program folder. Click "Next >", if you are ready:
10.) This dialog enables you to check all of your settings for installation. If you want to change anything, use the "< Back" button the step back to previous dialogs! Click "Next >", if you are ready (Installation begins!!!):
11.) Installation is completed. Choose, whether you want to view the readme file or to launch ComTrace now! Click "Finish", if you are ready:
***CONGRATULATIONS: You have successfully installed IWOXX ComTrace!
Now you are ready to proceed with the next step "How to install the hardware?"!
