The Menu Bar
This area of the "Main Screen" gives you control over all the functions of ComTrace. Beneath the Menu Bar, there is a "Tool Bar" under the "Menu Bar" and a "Control Center" at the bottom of the "Main Screen" giving you the same functions as the menu bar, but with Speed buttons (means "Easy&Fast Access").
The following menus are available in the menu bar:
File Menu - Containing controls to create, load or print "Recording Files" and to exit the program.
Record Menu - Use this menu to start or stop recording.
Examine Menu - Here you find the function for examining the recorded data with "Goto Measure Point", "Goto Trigger Point", "Search Event" and "Delta Time Measurement".
Display Menu - This menu helps you to set the properties of the "Data Grid", to change the "Display Mode", "Character Mode", "Special Mode" and to reset the "Trigger Grid".
Window Menu - Helps you to reset the size and position of the ComTrace windows to a default value (For example: If a window is outside the screen after changing your screen resolution to a lower level!) and gives you the ability to hide or show the "Measurement/Statistics Window" or the "COM Settings/Real Port Window".
Environment Menu - This menu enables you to load, set and save as many "Environments" as you want. Environments contain information about the port settings, of your own author/company, of your customer's contact/company information and a brief description of the project for reporting tasks.
Help Menu - With this menu, you can call this help file, contact the IWOXX Homepage, register your product at IWOXX, suggest a new feature(Email) for future releases of your software or report a problem to IWOXX!
